check out this build plz
i noticed that msot runners are w/mo's but then i realized bein a monk did not have that great of an advantage, so i researched a build that would suit my lv20 w/e this is wut i think would be an useful build, wut do u think:
ATTRIBUTES:
strength-9(+1 with minor strenght)
tactics-9(+1 wiht minor tactics)
water element-12
skills:
healing sig
endure pain
sprint
charge
balanced stance
armor of mist
swirling aura
armor of frost
I haven't tried it yet so i dont no how well it works, but before i try it out i wanna see if people think if its even worth tryin it...

armor of frost is a no-no, and charge kinda wastes your elite. Since you won't be fighting much, I'd say "mist form" and "I will survive"(to keep you alive).

well he's running so... but yea take mist form you'll need it or u can still take charge but i would rather take earth up such as armor of earth(i know about the slowness...) sprint and charge should be able to counteract it and i already know they dont stack.

The successful runners alternate Charge+Balanced Stance and Sprint. That's the core of it. You would probably want some healing power and maybe some other defensive stuff. Mist Form? No.

Eh, I'd rather take obsidian flesh over mist form. Obsidian flesh lets you run past things that cast slow hexes, like ice imps or siege ice golems.

I wouldn't use spells as they have a cast time and you have to stop. Stances can be cast on the move.

Obsidian Flesh {Elite} - Enchantment Spell
For 8-18 seconds, you gain +20 armor and cannot be the target of spells, but move 50% slower.
Moving 50% slower would be self-defeating.

dont take mist form as it only makes you immune to attacks not spells, or hexes.

The runers use mainly charge and sprint with balance stance and can use spurts of spell breaker to get through a difficult segment. The key is to stay fast, mobile, and healthy. Other things like endure pain help edge out close calls, but still require a form of healing or a pause somewhere along the line. Numbers help as well, as they divide up the focus of the attack, but are not neccacary.

please give feedback if you are a runner ... you cannot use charge and spellbreaker in the build ... they are both elite. They use charge OR spellbreaker

That was more of an infered generalization. Using the redundancy of 2 people covers the gaps where it would be more "difficult". Then again its not "neccacary" to use both for many situations.
Icaradik, covered the inverse situation base adequately enough.

I wouldn't recommend running a W/E... stick with the W/Mo. You would want to take a 3 pip mending as well as Charge, Sprint, and Balanced Stance. The balanced stance and charge combo are required if you are trying to run through any area with knockdown (from beacons perch to droknars for instance). If you don't have those your screwed. The 3 pip mending will keep most degens from hurting you. I would recommend a breeze since its a quick cast and lasts 10 seconds. I usually bring a heal area as well since it heals the most in 1 cast. Defensive Stance is also another good skill to bring. Lastly i would probably bring a healing signet so when you stop to let skills recharge and what not you have an energy free heal. Don't ever use heal sig when your running though or your a dead man.
